Interactive Gameshows for MSC Cruises

Creative Director / Writer

I collaborated with The Department, one of the UK’s leading immersive agencies, to design and write two large-scale interactive game shows for MSC Cruises.

These bespoke experiences were created for the Luna Park Arena on MSC’s flagship vessels, combining spectacle, competition, and playful storytelling to entertain global audiences at sea.

Both formats were built to engage guests of all ages and backgrounds, using physical comedy, quick-fire challenges, and accessible gameplay to deliver bold, high-energy entertainment night after night.

Currently playing on:

MSC Armonia, MSC Lirica, MSC Magnifica, MSC Opera, MSC Sinfonia, MSC World America, MSC World Europa.

an Experience Like This?

Whether you’re designing live entertainment, a branded experience, or an immersive challenge that connects with your audience, let’s build something unforgettable.

Win It in a Minute

A fast-paced, family-friendly challenge show where guests competed in bite-sized physical and mental games against the clock. The format was built around:

  • Rapid rounds with increasing intensity

  • Visual and physical games requiring minimal language

  • Audience participation is built into every session

This show was designed to be flexible across international audiences, ensuring high replay value across cruise itineraries.

All Feet on Deck

A dance battle like no other, where guests learned a choreographed routine, then cheered on eight finalists as they battled it out in costume for the title of Star Dancer. The format was built around:

  • Mass audience participation from the beginning

  • Four competitive dance rounds with costumes

  • Crowd voting and interactive feedback throughout

This show was designed to spark collective joy, build momentum in the venue, and give guests a starring role in the evening’s entertainment.
