Cast Announced – One for the Family Album by Ness Lyons

As part of the Miniaturist Festival held at Arcola Theatre, East London, I will be directing One for the Family Album written by Ness Lyons. I have been able to secure a wonderfully talented cast and technical team.

Emma - Charlie McClimens 

Charlie trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York & was an invited member of their 2007 Company. She has worked professionally in film and on stage and is currently working on her first radio series in which she voices six maniacal characters in and around a funeral home. She is a co-founder of Madison Theatre Company.

Alan - Adam Lannon 

Adam has just completed filming his first feature film Tetro Rouge. Filmed in Switzerland, Adam plays the title character. Either side of this he performed in the highly successful immersive theatre show The Heist. He was also recently in an episode of Downton Abbey and appeared earlier this year at The Bush Theatre and also as part of Richard Gadd's comedy show at the Soho Theatre. 


Florence - April Hughes 

April trained at East 15. After recently winning the Stage Acting Excellency award for her role in Freak by Anna Jordan, she has just finished a run of Girls Like That by Evan Placey at the Unicorn Theatre, and is currently filming a second season of CBBC's BAFTA award winning show Dixi


Writer – Ness Lyons

Ness’s work has been produced at several theatres, including The Pleasance, Theatre 503 & The Rosemary Branch, and e-published on Amazon in an anthology of IdeasTap competition winning plays. Her site-specific Pullens Promenade Theatre, co-funded by Southwark Council, is on again 6th December. Ness has been selected to be part of Criterion Theatre’s January 2015 new writing development programme.

Lighting Designer - Joshua Gadsby 

Joshua is currently in his final year of training at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Recent designs include; Collapse R&D (New Movement Collective/Barbican Pit), Nothing to See Here (KimBo/Arcola Tent), Twee Musketeers!(RCSSD/Webber Douglas), Loaded (RCSSD and OUT OF INC/Jacksons Lane), Co-design for Shape of the Impossible (NT Young Studio/NT Shed)
